How do I book?
We accept bookings online, where you will select the service then choose your date and time. You will then be asked to fill out your details. If you have Blue Light Card discount, then you can apply the voucher code here. You can also opt to get a reminder text 24 hours before your booking. You'll then be directed to pay the booking fee (50% of service cost) to secure your appointment.
Which service is best for me?
We offer a range of services, from one to one appointments for when you want a bit of 'Me' time, group appointments for up to 6 participants when you want to celebrate life with loved ones, bridal services- where you book a consultation to discuss what you are after, or services at your location for when you have a party or event on and want to entertain your guests with something beautiful, natural and different for them to enjoy for weeks after.
We are part of the J9 initiative to provide a safe space to women and men experiencing Domestic Abuse and have been trained to offer support, however you need it. We are open by appointment only, but are happy to schedule time to assist you however we can- to arrange this, message us by filling our the form below, or call us and ask about our 'Angel Consultation'. We will not mention anything about J9, to keep you safe and prevent evidence an abuser may look for.
What happens once I've booked?
Once you have successfully booked, you will receive a confirmation email with details on how to prepare, what to expect when you arrive, and best aftercare practices, so you can make the most of your experience and design. If you opt for a reminder text, then you will receive this 24 hours prior to your booking.
We ask that you arrive on time- We sanitise and prep our equipment and work space between clients and arriving early may mean we are not ready for you. We understand things can come up and so allow a 10 minute grace period for late arrivals- please note you are only entitled to the time you booked for, and being late means that you may get less time to be adorned. If you will be over 10 minutes late, then we ask that you call us on 01884 35844 so we can check if our schedule allows for the delay. You may be asked to reschedule if we are unable to accommodate this. If you do not get in contact with us, then your booking will be deemed as cancelled and you will not receive a refund.
We ask you not to arrive too early, as we sanitize, clean and prepare the boutique between clients and turning up too early may result in being asked to wait (you can wait inside on our comfortable sofa if there is space to do so).
When you arrive, you will be required to pay the remaining balance before your adornment (simply because trying to go through a purse or bag to pay can get very messy very quickly with henna paste on your hands and often results in smudging your new design, and henna paste going everywhere- we want you to be able to continue relaxing and avoid this potential disaster).
Our clients love the peaceful and inviting atmosphere of our boutique, and so we recommend turning your phone to silent or disabling notifications for you to fully enjoy your experience. From the moment you open the door, you will be greeted with luxury incense gently wafting in the air, soothing music playing gently in the background, beautiful candles and decor, and Shelby, our friendly henna artist who will go over what you would like, before applying a unique design to suit your individual style.
Feel free to bring any images of designs, styles, patterns or, if getting henna for an event- a photo of your outfit, so that any design elements can be incorporated into the henna design, making for a stylish and elegant flow. Please note that while we do not copy others work or designs (out of respect for the original artist, and because every artists individual style is unique to them), we are happy to re-create designs with our own unique flare and style added in, so you have a design as unique and fabulous as you.
Our boutique is a judgement- free zone, so you can be your true, authentic self. Everyone is welcome. Hate speech, violence, or otherwise aggressive or intimidating behaviour is not tolerated in our space and anyone doing so will be asked to leave immediately.
