Welcome your baby and celebrate yourself with the relaxing and healing art of prenatal henna, where we adorn your belly bump with our natural henna designs tailored to you. We welcome you into our cosy home studio with soothing music playing, incense wafting through the air and a comfortable seat for you to rest in and be pampered with henna. Designs on the belly will be lighter than the hands or arms, as the skin is thinner, but with good aftercare, you can still achieve a nice stain that can last up to 2 weeks. If you are wanting a photoshoot with your fresh new design, you may want to consider if you would prefer your photos done with the paste still on to make your design a main feature- which would be best to schedule your adornment just before your photoshoot. Or if you would like a subtler design for your shoot, in which case it is best to book your henna session 2 days before your photos. Henna stains take about 48 hours to fully develop, the stain starts out orange and over the first day your design will start to turn a brown colour, over the second day the stain gets deeper and darker. Your safety is our priority, so we mix our henna paste fresh for each appointment, and to make the paste the safest for you and baby, we only use henna leaf powder, water, and sugar in our paste for prenatal designs. What if baby comes early? You can swap your appointment for a postnatal henna session- either with an hour of henna pampering in one session, or as two 30 minute sessions. Please note this must be rescheduled for within 90 days of the original appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Tardiness | Clients should be prompt in arriving at the scheduled time. Clients who arrive late or are unable to begin on time will not be guaranteed full service, and the client will remain responsible for all fees as outlined in this agreement. If you are running behind, please let us know as soon as possible by sending a Text or whatsapp message to 07845903772, or sending an email to hello@thehennapeacock.com . We do not offer customer service for appointments via phone call. Arrivals over ten minutes late without any communication will be determined to be no shows. While we are happy to accommodate late arrivals when scheduling allows for it, please note that you are only be entitled to the time allocated at the time of booking. No refund will be given for cancellations or no-shows. ​ Reschedules | We understand that things may come up, and will allow for any individual session to be rescheduled a single time without requiring a new booking. If you find that you must reschedule your appointment for any reason, it is requested that it be made known as soon as possible as the time may be made available for other clients. We appreciate your cooperation. Rescheduled sessions must be within 90 calendar days of the initial booking. Cancellations | All cancellation requests must be received by 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Appointments cancelled prior to this time will not be charged any further fees or costs, and any payment received in excess of the booking fee will booking fee will be returned. Cancellation requests received within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will not be refunded at all.
